Ask any kid who grew up in 90’s and early 2000 he will tell you that he wants to build a body like Salman Khan. Since then the actor has enthralled us with his muscular body as he tries to carve a niche as an action superstar. He was enigmatic as Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg and as Devi Lal Singh in Kick, and now he shows off his chiseled body in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan. Bhaijaan took to the social media to share the first look of his upcoming movie.

The poster suggests that Salman will exhibit his wrestling skills in the movie and looking at his body, one can say that he has trained hard for the film. Salman clearly has beefed up for the role, and he is also seen sporting a mustache. The actor allegedly plays the role of a national level wrestler in the movie, and he is said to have trained himself for wrestling and mixed martial arts (MMA) with international action director Larnell Stoval. Here’s what Salman Khan does to keep himself fit.
Here is the movie teaser

We spoke to wrestling and MMA expert Anmol Londhe, who tells us the kind of training one needs to undergo for wrestling.

Body weight exercises: Jumping jacks, squats, pushups, crunches, and lunges are some of the best exercises to build strength and stamina. These exercises target multiple muscle groups, unlike the isolation exercises. Overhead press and bench press are also an integral part of the routine.

Outdoor exercises: The training often includes walking on the hills and running in fields to improve your power and stamina. Trainees also perform bodyweight exercises in the playground and push ups and lunges on the benches of a park. Jogs accompany full-intensity workouts such as squat jumps and squat thrusts.

Circuit training: Circuit training is also an integral part of wrestling. One needs to aim for as many repetitions as possible and rest for a minute in between the sets. In circuit training, one needs to do the power lifts to take their fitness level up a notch.

Sultan is all set to hit the box office this Eid and we are eagerly waiting for it!
